Setting Up A Yahoo Email Account

The free email service, the Yahoo.com mail, is the third biggest web-based email service. At any given time, there are three web interfaces available for a Yahoo email.

The traditional Yahoo Mail Classic kept the availability of their original 1997 interface until July 2013 in North America. A 2005 version included the newer Ajax interface, improved search, keyboard shortcuts, drag-and-drop, and address auto-completion and tabs. Yahoo Mail experienced a major outage wherein many users could not get into their email messages from December 10, 2013. Since December 12, 2013, the outage was not completely resolved.

In order to access a free Yahoo.com login, all you need is a computer or any mobile device with an Internet connection and a web browser program, whether it may be Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or Internet Explorer.

The main advantage of having a mail.yahoo.com login is that it can be accessed in all web browser programs. Moreover, your Yahoomail can also be used as a login for any online account or any social networking account for that matter. • Open a web browser program and go to the Yahoo home page at www.yahoo.com.

• It is not a quick guarantee that the page will appear as it does on picture number 1. Nonetheless, you should just find the mail from the page and click on it. • On the form, fill in your First name, Last name, Mobile number, Birthday, and Gender.

• The proceeding field needs you to put in a Yahoo username for your soon to be email address. The format of a Yahoo email address is usually username@yahoo.com. It is only the username that you can come up with. The @yahoo.com is the same for any and all Yahoo email accounts. There are instances, however, that the Yahoo email account attaches the country of your origin, like username@yahoo.co.uk or username@yahoo.com.ph. • There are millions upon millions of users in Yahoo. So that you can use the email username of your choice, your username should not be the same as anyone else’s. We recommend that you try to research on how to make good usernames. Once you put in your preferred username, Yahoo automatically checks if the username is already being used by someone else. Yahoo also gives you suggestions for the other usernames you can use. You can use characters like the underscore “_” and/or the period “.”, as needed.
